I absolutely love this collection. Anna Sui, fresh off her CFDA Lifetime Achievement Award and a collaboration with Target, is on point for the S/S 2010 season. The collection is fresh, airy, springy and very summery with loads of bright coloured sandals and patterned mini dresses.

Anna’s stellar circus-themed Spring fling had lots of references to the Pop sixties and you do feel the hippie vibe with all the head scarves, the flowery, butterfly, animal print patterns.

Majority of the shoes were a  colour palette of bright colours. They included gladiator sandals,  cut-out open-toed sandals with patterns of butterflies worn with cut-out knee socks and there were some platform wedged sandals too.

I personally like these gold with egyptian style motif boots but I don’t think they will be everyone’s cup of tea. Okay, they look a little out-dated but I love their simplicity.

Nooooooo! Please, lets get rid of the gladiator sandal. Am so sick of it!

These sandals look so frumpy and if you are not blessed with long model-like legs, they would make legs look stumpy and short.

I actually love these boots. I love the fringe lining and I can so see myself in them with a nice short skirt or shorts.

Anna Sui’s shoe collection for Spring/ Summer 2008 is retro chic, very hip with a hint of rock ‘n’ roll. There is a mixture of vintage with current styles and loads of colour. Definately a designer to look out for in 2008.
