These black leather ankle boots have a high covered platform that measures at approximately 4.5 inches and a i.2 inch high wedge with a cut-out centre, a square toe, black fabric insert with ankle drawstring close and simply just slip on.

Balenciaga Peep-toe Boots

Another one of our favourite finds from the sales are these Grey leather peep toe boots from Balenciaga with contrasting leather panels across the front. Now as much as I love these boots, I was a little confused as to when I should wear them. They are too drafty for winter and too hot for summer unless I wear them in spring provided it is not raining like mad?!

But as Salma Hayek  has proved below, fashion knows no weather forecast and these lovelies can be worn regardless of the weather.

Balenciaga Peep-toe Boots

The boots are mid-calf length peep-toe boots with an irregular shaped heel that measures at approximately 4.5 inches and a 0.5 inch stacked effect heel . The striped coloured pattern at the front of the shoe is made by using different colour leather compressed and adhered together using a special technique. The base of the shoe also has leather stitched layering detail.

I first blogged about these Balenciaga Open-toe Shoes back in February 2010 when they first came out in leather as seen on Rihanna below. For this year, they are in suede and I am absolutely loving them. Suede makes them look a little more dressy in the sense that you could wear them to the office or for a glamourous evening out!

We are in love with these gorgeous black suede ankle booties by Balenciaga. The style of the shoes looks too square but nonetheless very edge. The booties have a 5 inch heel with a hidden 1 inch hidden platform. They also have a tonal grainy leather insert on upper and part of the heel, a hidden side stretch insert and zipper detail.

These will be perfect with jeans, skinny pants, classy dresses, and fun skirts.

The boots are a white, navy and brown leather ankle boot with grey linen effect leather panels and an open-toe. The brown leather band lies across the front of the ankle with cut-out detail at the front. They also have a striped suede insole and a platform with stitch detailing. The heel measures at 4.5 inches and are a simple slip-on style.

You have got to rock the scene in these Sam Edelman Ankle Booties. Hot-to-trot, these booties look like the Balenciaga booties from a few seasons back. Infact they look so much like the real thing, I doubt that anyone would think they weren’t. They have a 5 inch heel with a 1 1/4 inch covered platform. I don’t think these will hang around for long so snap them up now!

Nicole Ritchie rocks Balenciaga Boots

This black suede gladiator style sandal with a stiletto heel from Balenciaga is just insane. It has different shaped studs in varying colours on embellished suede.  This sandal looks quite sporty, maybe because of the  ankle rest on the back of the shoe. Either way, these heels are very fashion forward so show them off this season with a dress or skirt.

From the Spring/ Summer 2009, I was at first baffled by these Balenciaga sandals. See at first I thought that they were boots but obviously not!!! It must be some sort of tights/ sandal infusion. I like the bubble-like soul. It has grip which I think would be good for rainy, slippery days. What do you think…?
