Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton shoe collection was a big hit at the Paris Spring 2009 runway show. The was a varied display of leathers, colours, feathers, tassels and round balls and cylinders to accent the shoes. The shoes look too busy but somehow Marc Jacobs manages to pull it together to create a fabulous shoe.

These have got to be the most expensive shoes on the planet at the moment. (Actually no! They are the second most expensive…… Manolo Blahnik’s Alligator Boots are the most expensive shoes this year, costing just over £9000)
Even snake skin does not cost this much. I want to know what ‘grey animal’s skin’ is used to make these because at that price, it must be an endangered specie!

I say, this Louis Vuitton Beige Animal Skin and Wood Wedge looks rather comfortable…..not! Honestly, how the hell would one walk in these???
I guess it will feel like walking in platforms because the heel height is balanced out with the platform. Super model Heidi Klum, below seems to carry these off rather too easily at the Victoris’s Secret after party. Mr Louis Vuitton, please send me a pair for a test drive in size 7.
