They are available at Manolo Blahnik’s West 54th Street boutique in New York. (For these prices, I would want the boots to come with the remains of the animal so i could make myself a matching bag!)

The second most expensive shoe or boot of 2008 is the Louis Vuitton Grey Animal Skin Ankle Boots with Buckle, coming in a close second at a retail price of £7,945 or $11,842. (also, if you bought these shoes in July, they would have cost you a mere £5, 923 but today, with all the credit crunch business, you would pay the above price…..ouch!)

Perhaps the most covetable ankle boots yet? These are the kind of boots that you would want to be the first to be seen in them and let everyone else follow.
