When I saw the pictures from the Nicholas Kirkwood’s Spring 2009 Collection, I was in total awe of this man! Seriously speaking, my jaw dropped when I saw these pumps. They are beautiful.

Season after season Nicholas Kirkwood’s collections evolve and just keep getting better. And lets not forget that he is the creative genius behind the Rodarte 2009 collection, which is just amazing!
The shoes have a 20mm suede platform, a slightly pointed open toe, and two large round Ayers Snake loops on the toes with round cut-out centers, giving them that ‘Statement look.’ This is true creativity at its best !!!

Designed by Nicholas Kirkwood for Rodarte’s Spring 2009 Shoe Collection, these are very fierce!
They look a tad hard to walk in and apparently, during the NY Fashion week Spring 2009, the runway models were voted the “Most Likely to Fall” in these Shoes. I absolutely like the gold chain straps on the first pair and my favs are the last ones. The heel does it for me!!!
The blue/ white are my second favourites and can’t wait to see these out in the stores!!

Pollini Spring/ Summer 2009 Shoe Collection
Pollini, the design label that grew out of an old, established Italian shoe brand has been taken over by a new British team that consists of non- other than Jonathan Saunders, the Scottish proponent of graphic modernist print, who is designing the clothes and Nicholas Kirkwood—a rising talent with a hot line of his own—the shoes.
This collection is feminine and light. Saunders used dots, stripes and pastels for the dresses while Kirkwood used colour-blocked suede and patent heels in lime, cobalt, black, and white.
I sometimes find that suede can look quite dull and bland and this is a little prominent with the yellow shoes. They do not really shine out. I do like the whole loafers with chunky tassels look which is so fierce.
