Isabel Marant Soan Cropped Leather Biker Pants

I know, I know….the blog is supposed to be about shoes and it is because we are loving the pointed-toe bow kitten heels that she is wearing but I just had to share Victoria Beckham’s look with you.

We just love the traffic-stopping fierce red Soan Cropped Leather Biker Pants by Isabel Marant which we predict will be at the top of every new-season wish list.

And to complete her look, Victoria has thrown on a cute pair of Prada Patent Leather Bow Pumps which she has twitted about saying: ‘Obsessed with these Prada shoes!!!!’

Hot to trot: Victoria Beckham was spotted wearing fire engine red Isabel Marant leather trousers and a pair of Prada pumps while out shopping in London's trendy Notting Hill at the weekend.

I have always been a big fan of Prada Shoes and in the past, and this was one collection I could not wait to see. I must say I am a little disappointed with it. I cannot stand plastic because it does not look good on black skin…period!  

Miuccia Prada says that she was inspired by “business to beach”, which I just don’t see in this collection. Who in their right mind would wear any of these shoes to a business meeting or at work? The shoes with the chandelier attachments alone could get you the ‘sack’ and I can only imagine sweaty feet! ‘yuk’

The other shoes have Velcro attachments which look horrible as you can clearly see it and just imagine all the fluff that could get caught and be very visible.

Honestly, this collection failed to impress me and if I saw a celebrity wearing these, my first words would be, “Sack your stylist!” Sadly, I cannot see beyond all that plastic Miuccia.

If anything, judging by the gumboot-style shoes, I say bring it on… the rain, the snow, the mud….we are prepared!

Who ever thought gumboots could look so cool? I bet those attending this year’s glastonbury festival will be first in line for this look:)

Ladies! I hope your medical insurance is in order and that you are well covered. Now you may ask “why?” Well…

Remember these ???? The shoes from the Prada Spring/ Summer 2009 collection, that had those poor models falling all over the place??? Well they are ready to buy so make sure you have very good medical insurance when you wear them.

And avoid the little socks that the models wore with them because apparently Miuccia Prada said that that is what caused the models to fall, because the socks made walking in the shoes slippery!!!

Well for one, these poor petrified girls who fell all over themselves on the catwalk trying to pull this 6-inch skyscraper heels look off.

Well Miuccia said that the reason the models stumbled and fell over was because they wore socks with the sky high shoes making walking slippery!??!

Miuccia says they could knock one or two inches off the shoes to make them more comfortable.

Please Miuccia Prada, do not do it!!!!!  Beauty hurts!!! Lets deal with it people ….or at least get some good medical insurance….. (Mary Kate Olsen out and about in Prada shoes, below)
