Nicholas Kirkwood is an absolute genius when it comes to shoes and I must say, there is hardly any collection that he has put out that I have not liked. This man’s shoes are serious, trendy, fresh, unconventional and memorable. A must-have for fashionistas, these 120mm Sandals designed for Rodarte are fierce and am loving the colour scheme.

The shoes have approx. a 5 inch PVC heel with a 1 inch internal platform, red suede straps, leather sides with cut-out details, suede and leather self tie ankle straps and crocodile printed leather insert at back on heel.

Trust me people, you have not seen anything until you touch a Nicholas Kirkwood shoe!!!

Hot off the Rodarte S/S 2010 runway, where these Corroded Brass Pumps by Nicholas Kirkwood first debuted, you can now feature them in your very own closet.

Nicholas Kirkwood is one of the most talented British designers around and these vertiginous heels with an acid corroded brass metal look are so extravagantly studded that they barely resemble shoes.

They have a 5.7 inch Stacked heel, with a 1.1 inch Brass covered platform, they have a slightly pointed-toe with metal plating, asymmetrical cut-outs all over the front and sides, brass metal spikes on the sides and at the back of the shoes, a metallic leather upper, a back zip closure and an acid corroded brass metal hardware.

Wear with absolutely everything to show them off!!

Nicholas Kirkwood’s collaboration with the Rodarte sisters has proved to be a work of genius, giving us a futuristic, extravaganza of studded detailling and cut-out platform sandals.

However, although the shoes are fierce, they lacked in the bright, spring-cum-summer department as the colours were very dark. The cut-out detailling made up for it though, and gives that airy, spring feeling.

Designed by Nicholas Kirkwood for Rodarte’s Spring 2009 Shoe Collection, these are very fierce!

They look a tad hard to walk in and apparently, during the NY Fashion week Spring 2009, the runway models were voted the “Most Likely to Fall” in these Shoes. I absolutely like the gold chain straps on the first pair and my favs are the last ones. The heel does it for me!!!

The blue/ white are my second favourites and can’t wait to see these out in the stores!!

Christian Louboutin for Rodarte Spike Stilettos

Ladies, I finally got the chance to try on these beautiful bad azz killer pumps from Christain Louboutin for Rodarte, and I must say one word came to my mind…… FIERCE!!!!!!!! (excuse the fat legs)
 
They are really beautiful and very, very High with a hefty price tag to match!

(Note to Mr Louboutin: Sir, if by any chance you happen to have a pair in size 7 or 8 UK, lying around your studio, please hook a sister up!!!!!)
 

Pros: Very sexy, extremely high and will definately get you noticed!!!!
 
Cons: Might need foot insurance as they are really high (so not for the faint-hearted),
 
The colour in the pictures and magazines is not exactly the same as that of the real shoes (in reality, its an off copper-ish, gold-ish colour),

If you have fat legs or ankles, you might struggle with strapping yourself into the shoes as I did (as seen in the pics above, I have not closed all the straps, but I still look good!)

And while the magazines tell us that the shoes cost a mere £975.00, the stores sell them for £1,500.00 – £2,000.00!!!
