Rodarte Spring/ Summer 2008 Shoe Collection

phpThumb_generated_thumbnailCA9OFS2Y

Sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy from Pasadena, California are the designers behind the label Rodarte, which actually is their mother’s maiden name.

Their inspiring story of how they came to New York in the spring of 2005 with nothing but a few dresses and coats stuffed in their suitcase and in a week after arriving, they had shown their collection to almost every major fashion-magazine editor and upscale retail buyer shows their tenacity and hardwork.

This shoe collection is fierce with some serious shoes that could do damage, especially the black ones with the metal bits hanging out on the front…ouch!
