Alexander McQueen Spring/ Summer 2010 Shoe Collection
Models walked down the runway to Lady Gaga’s new single and if you think of Lady Gaga’s wacky dress sense and look at this collection, then you will understand why Alexander McQueen chose her music.
She is also probably the only person in this world who could pull off wearing any of these shoes from McQueen’s collection too.
The collection was futuristic and outrageous with some brilliantly coloured towering platforms that were just out of this world, as well as some equally fabulous footwear on display. His signature skull evolved into a part skeleton – part alien in a few of the designs but honestly, I wonder how they are going to water these down for the public to buy. I cannot imagine people will be walking around in these shoes, especially the ones which look like platform ballet pumps.
