I so loved these Givenchy slick black and gold patent wedge boots with their tab-and-Velcro fastenings when they first came out last year in the Fall 2008 Givenchy collection but did not have enough money to buy them then. Now, one of my best kept little secrets is stocking these shoes.

I tell you am on it like white on rice, putting my order in because am not going to miss out this time round!

Known as the “shoemaker to the stars,” such as actors Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford who enlist him to custom-fit their feet, Salvatore Ferragamo is renowned first and foremost for its footwear.

Although shoes remain the main focus of the brand, Ferragamo today also includes ready-to-wear, bags, eyewear, watches, and fragrances.

Infact most stores will stock the bags and accessories but you hardly find any of the clothes, which is sad because Cristina Ortiz’s Fall 2009/ 2010 collection was to die for. Loads of rich and dark wintery colours in black, red and brown tones that would go nicely with these Loremarie Studded T-strap Pumps.

I am loving the stand-out leaf-shaped leather embellished cut-outs with round studs. Absolutely fabulous!
