Jonathan Saunders Fall 2009 Shoe Collection
The stiletto is still queen and will be around for many a year to come. Jonathan Saunders also kept his fall 2009 collection colourful with these gorgeous bright stiletto platforms in reds, oranges and blues.
My favourite is the blue sparkly stiletto, above, which will bright up those gloomy wintery days.

Proenza Schouler Fall 2009 Shoe Collection
Leather stiletto lace up ankle boots, wooden heels, zipper detailing and chunky platforms shoes were some of the highlights of the Proenza Scouler Fall 2009 collection. Proenza Schouler designers Jack McCullough and Lazaro Hernandez were on top form with this collection that drew the likes of Nicole Ritchie and Ashley Olsen. They have stuck to the true spirit of fall with their dark colours to compliment the tweeds that were in the clothing collection.

Marc Jacobs Fall 2009 Fall Shoe Collection
This Marc Jacobs 2009 Fall collection is filled with over-the-knee boots with turn-up toes which are compensated with matching patch work tights, patent shoes with velvet bows and oversized square-frame clog type shoes.
The whole collection pretty much has that clog-type style running through it with the upward toe and quite frankly, I don’t find it appealing mainly because I hate clogs!

Matthew Williamson Fall 2009 Shoe Collection
I have always liked Matthew Williamson’s clothes. He always uses a pallette that is full of summer colours and while many fall and winter collections are dark and gloomy, Matthews is fun. I love the zebra-print shoes.

Thakoon Fall 2009 Fall Shoe Collection
Designer Thakoon Panichgul is a favourite of first lady Michelle Obama. Now that is understandable because he makes ladylike clothes. What I just cannot imagine is Michelle Obama strutting around in a pair of these? lol
I like the ankle boots above and the overall mirror-like finish of the shoes. I would actually like to see Michelle Obama in a pair of the ankle boots.
