Antonio Berardi Thigh-High Latex Boots
I don’t understand why Vicky is getting so much stick for wearing stilettos. I am sure every woman who loves shoes would love to carry off any shoe rergardless of height, and spend the day tottering about in a pair of 6 inch heels. The point is she has nice legs and bloody well looks damn fierce!!!!
Ever the height of fashion, Victoria adorns these thigh-high latex Antonio Berardi boots towering at 5 1/2 inches, which really look good on her (so does David Beckham). And these come with a price tag of £3,420 ($6000)…..ouch!!!!
Victoria Beckham has declared that she “just can’t concentrate in flats”, and that outrageous footwear is simply normal for her. She also hinted that hell might freeze over before we catch her wearing flats on a family outing.

Antonio Berardi Heel-Less Platform Shoes
Back in November 2007, I blogged about these creations from British designer Antonio Berardi. These shoes made such an impact on the runway at the Spring/ Summer Collection in Paris and the models worked them like heels never existed.
They have a 5 1/2in platform and can hardly be described as high heels, since they lack the most important part – a heel.
Stars including Gwyneth Paltrow and Uma Thurman invested in a black patent version costing more than £1,100, shortly after they were unveiled in Berardi’s spring/summer collection in Paris. And Victoria Beckham has a snakeskin pair. For the bargain price of £1,800, the wearer will get to totter around with all her weight balanced on a thickened platform sole. Now all I need is a crash helmet and an instructions manual.

Lily Aldridge attends Gap Design Editions launch celebration at Rockefeller Plaza gallery, April 14, 2008, wearing Antonio Berardi’s heel-less platform shoes. See, they are wearable!!!

And there was Antonio Berardi….
The spring collection in paris last week produced some really interesting fashion. The designers kept the collections looking chic, young and easy to wear but they went all out on the shoes.
There were some really wierd and wonderful shoes ranging from bear claws heels to shark like teeth heels, but the order of the day was Antonio Berardi’s high heels with the elongated platform toe with no heel. These shoes made such an impact and the models worked them like heels never existed.
When you walk, it is almost on tiptoe, You look really dainty.- Antonio Berardi
