Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana had a crowd pleasing finale at Milan fashion week.
The shoes were the best part for me. I expected unreal shoes, certainly not your usual platform but something that will catch your attention and they delivered. Expect rock ‘n’ roller, street style chic with black lace, fishnet detail and sexy criss-cross straps.

I am so in love with these shoes from the Trompe l’oeil collection based on illusion by Comme Des Garçons.
I don’t know if many of you know this but the founder of Comme Des Garçons, designer Rei Kawakubo, is untrained as a fashion designer, but studied fine arts and literature at Tokyo’s prestigious Keio University. She has inspired many designers today, including Belgian Martin Margiela and Ann Demeulermeester as well as Austrian designer Helmut Lang.

I have absolutely gone gaga over these shoes and I am going to Dover Street Market to look for the gold pair. They are simple but I love the drawing on the outer of the shoes. Totally unique!!

Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2009 Couture Shoes
Jean Paul Gaultier’s Spring 2009 Couture Collection is very sexy and sophisticated. The shoes have a pointed toe with stiletto heels and metallic, mirrored leather. I am not sure but I think the fishnet detail is part of the shoes and not part of the ankle stocking which is really cool. I like the simplicity of these shoes.
