A lot of people are confusing the Christian Louboutin shoes that Sarah Jessica Parker is wearing in the new ‘Sex & the City movie. I can confirm that she is not wearing the Christian Louboutin Bat Girl 100 Shoes. Nope…she is wearing the Christian Louboutin Gino T-strap Pumps.

Fendi Spring/ Summer 2010 Shoe Collection
Fendi’s selection of footwear for the Spring/ Summer 2010 Collection was considerably tame compared with seasons past. It consisted of interesting peep-toe platforms with lightweight mesh material which straps around the ankles.
The platform is transparent and although it gives the shoes a futuristic look, I cannot help thinking that they look a little trashy?! What do you think?

Versace Spring/ Summer 2010 Shoe Collection
The VERSACE Spring/Summer 2010 Collection during Milan Fashion Week was nothing less than what they usually deliver, SPECTACULAR designs; everything from the floating, futuristic soles to the bright pastel patterns. Inspired by Tim Burton’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’, Donatello Versace’s collection is based on the idea of that “fantasy land.”
The inspiration took the shape of mixing vivid pastels, geometric prints, and baroque curlicues. The platforms and sky high heels will still be the norm for spring, but Donatella has incorporated a floating sole which is between the shoes and the platform. I have noticed many Italian designers (ie: Gia Lorenzi) have adopting this concept and brings a whole new fresh look to the platform. This collection is young, fresh, fun and hip and will appeal to both the young and old, alike.

Burberry Prorsum Spring/ Summer 2010 Shoe Collection
Christopher Bailey closed LFW with a message: Burberry has gone short, draped, deluxe, glamorous, and aimed at the very young. The collection was amazing and all the pieces are wearable.
Bailey’s collection titled “Twisted Classics” gave us twisted leather platform shoes, braided leather platform shoes, leather and satin bandage boots with zipper details on the back and will work so well with those short, deluxe, sexy dresses.

Jonathan Saunders Spring/ Summer 2010 Shoe Collection
Any girl with petite feet will love Johnathon Saunders’ Spring/Summer 2010 shoes because its made for her. If you look at the narrowness of the front of the shoes, there is no way girls with big or wide feet (& fat ankles or canKles) can wear these.
The shoes are a clean and simple design but the colour co-ordination (green with white and orange) is what makes them striking at the same time.
