Anna Sui Spring/Summer 2010 Shoe Collection
I absolutely love this collection. Anna Sui, fresh off her CFDA Lifetime Achievement Award and a collaboration with Target, is on point for the S/S 2010 season. The collection is fresh, airy, springy and very summery with loads of bright coloured sandals and patterned mini dresses.
Anna’s stellar circus-themed Spring fling had lots of references to the Pop sixties and you do feel the hippie vibe with all the head scarves, the flowery, butterfly, animal print patterns.
Majority of the shoes were a colour palette of bright colours. They included gladiator sandals, cut-out open-toed sandals with patterns of butterflies worn with cut-out knee socks and there were some platform wedged sandals too.

Alexander Wang Spring/ Summer 2010 Shoe Collection
Coming off his collaboration this year with the Gap, Alexander Wang has had all-American sportswear on the brain and he ran with a sporty theme once again for Spring.
The tasseled wedgie loafers and rugged, zippered sandal boots did not do it for me, but that does not mean that I wouldn’t wear the zipper boots. I just feel that this whole collection was somewhat lacking compared to Wang’s last collection.
“We want to create clothes that are timeless and classic,” Wang said a few days before his show. “Our girl wants investment pieces.”
Well if you consider sweatshirts, cut shorts and cut-out knee high socks as investment pieces, then this collection is for you. The whole varsity look reminds me of Britney’s “Oops I did it again.”

I must say, I have never been a fan of any celebrity clothing lines or footwear but I am absolutely loving the ‘Elizabeth and James’ clothing line and footwear. The Olsen twins have created a well-edited line of sandals, flats, and heels that are flawless for transitional dressing. These Send Side Dip wedges are my favs. Will look great in summer or winter with a pair of tights.

Style, creativity, genius are some of the words I can use to describe Giuseppe Zanotti. Consulting for the biggest brands like Balmain, Roberto Cavalli, as well as developing his own line, Zanotti’s creations combine unique design and luxurious materials like rare leathers, cyrstals and furs.
This flame looking wedge platform is made of foal leopard and is just gorgeous. It has a 12cm platform heel and a back zip closure. It might not be everyone’s cup f tea but I love it. Wear with thick tights and a mini to show them off!
