I am loving Alexander Wang’s collections. From the clothese to the shoes, he is definately giving a lot of older designers a run for their money.

I think this Oxford shoe is fabulous. I love the pointed toe, the 1.5 inch wooden sole that provides a sharp contrast and the fact that the shoes do not have laces but a concealed elastic panel that sits at the front. This is androgynous chic at its best.  Team with cropped trousers and a crisp shirt this coming season for serious sartorial style.

Wow!!!! I don’t even know where to begin with this. okay, they remind me of Nicholas Kirwood’s sandals which also had a platform sole with one row of gold studs. Gian Marco Lorenzi’s suede platform sandals on the other hand, have a thick platform with two rows of gold studs. These will not be everyone’s cup-of -tea but am sure they will turn alot of heads.

The shoes have a high wooden stiletto heel that measures 6.5 inches witha 2.5 inch wood effect wedge sole. There is also a small suede strap across the shoe with a tassel and two studs.

Honestly, these shoes would have been beautiful without that heavy loaded wedge platform sole. It just looks so horrendous!
